Communication & Language
Communication & Language is vital for all human beings. Learning starts from birth, with eye contact, copying expressions and cooing. All communication is vital for growth of every child. Communication & Language is incorporated into every activity and general conversation we have with the children. Using open-ended questions encourages a response, as well as repetitive words alongside actions. We encourage children to communicate with each other everyday and naturally relationships form. For children whose first language is not English, it is very important to incorporate their culture into learning, for both the individual child and their friends.
Behaviour is a direct byproduct of communication- good and not so good. Communication is not just about talking, it is equally about listening. A child is most likely to listen if they feel listened to.
