Welcome to our home

Our home is in the heart of Thornton-Cleveleys, in a residential, quiet cul-de-sac. As a Childminding setting, your child will enjoy our home just as our family does, and, will sometimes spend time with our family (eg. school holidays etc). Everyone who lives in our home over the age of 16 has to be signed off by Ofsted and have a full clean DBS for us to operate. In our home, we have Gemma (Childminder), husband Liam, teenage son Freddie, toddler Reggie and dog Mabel. Although Mabel will be in the home whilst the children are in attendance, she has her own space and never spends time with the children. 

 

We have lots of space for play and learning, including a designated playroom (with role-play areas) and a very large enclosed back garden.

The children have use of an array of different toys, activities and art/crafts station to really advance their imagination. ​We offer aim to entice, educate and encourage the children to explore activities in more depth by learning through play.

We have recieved a 5 star food hygeine rating for our food preparation areas and a large dining area for eating. We have a designated sleeping area for little ones needing a nap, using either floor mats or travel cots depending on their age. We also have a designated downstairs WC.
